Temporary Voice Channels
Private voice channels for members, automatically deleted when empty.
Temporary channels solve the issue of a server cluttered with empty channels — a single channel generates rooms on demand, and they auto-delete when empty.
Set the generator channel
Choose the channel that creates a private room whenever someone joins it, along with the category where rooms are created.
Customize the control panel
The panel shown to the room owner — to rename, adjust limits, lock, kick, and grant permissions. You can customize its theme to match your server.
One-click auto setup
Instead of creating channels manually, the System setup panel does it all: "creates a text channel for the panel + a voice channel for generation".
The Category field includes an explicit note: "Leave empty and I will create a new one". So if you don't have a dedicated category, don't worry — leave it blank and click Setup now. If you want a new custom-named category, there is a + New category button.
The same can be done from Discord using the command /تجهيز-الصوتيات.
The Republish panel button is for specific cases: the panel was deleted by mistake, or you changed its title, description, and buttons and want the published version updated.
/تجهيز-الصوتيات from Discord.Configure default values for every new channel
This panel defines how every new channel is configured upon creation. The template clarifies an important rule: "Default values for every new channel — member saved profiles override them". This means if a member previously edited their channel and the Persistent memory feature is enabled, their personal settings override what you configure here. This is the most common reason people think settings weren't saved.
The Channel name template accepts two variables: {OWNER_NAME} for the owner's name and {COUNT} for a sequential number. Example: 🎧 {OWNER_NAME}'s channel.
User limit from 0 to 99 — with 0 meaning unlimited.
Bitrate (kbps) between 8 and 384, with 64 as default. Don't increase it unnecessarily; higher rates require your server to have the appropriate Boost level, otherwise Discord will reject them.
Cooldown (seconds) up to 3600 — how long a member must wait before creating another channel. This is your shield against rapid channel spamming.
Default privacy has three completely different options: Public — everyone can join · Locked — visible, but cannot join · Hidden — invisible to others.
Welcome message supports {OWNER_MENTION} to mention the owner and {OWNER_NAME} for their name.
Enable advanced features thoughtfully
Eight toggles, and each genuinely changes system behavior. Read the description next to each before turning it on:
Persistent memory — "The channel restores its exact settings — name, limit, color, trusted, and blocked users". Very useful, and the reason your default settings might not apply to returning members.
In-channel interface — Sends a copy of the control panel in each channel's chat upon creation, so members don't have to navigate back to the main panel.
Claim ownership — If the owner leaves, anyone inside can claim ownership. Without it, the channel stays ownerless until empty.
Owner container color · Waiting room (side channel + join requests with accept/reject buttons) · Meeting mode (mutes everyone except the owner and trusted members) · Statistics (tracks channel count and voice minutes).
The riskiest is Manage permission for owner — marked as "(Caution)" because it grants the member Manage Channel on their channel.
Control who creates and who sees — Restrictions and Admin mode
The Restrictions panel has two lists with opposite logic, which is where confusion usually happens:
Blocked creation roles — An exclusion list. Everyone can create channels except holders of these roles. Ideal for penalizing members who abuse the system.
Allowed creation roles only — An inclusion list, described as: "Empty = everyone allowed". As soon as you add a single role, anyone without that role immediately loses the ability to create channels. Use this if temporary channels are a perk for a specific level or Premium only.
And Admin mode serves a clear purpose: "Roles with access to all temporary channels — even locked and hidden ones. Useful for checking on locked channels causing trouble". Add them under Channel management roles, and changes take effect instantly on active channels — no need to wait for them to be recreated.
Below it is Admin protection: "Owner cannot kick, ban, or mute management role holders". Without this, a channel owner could kick the moderator inspecting their channel — defeating the entire purpose of Admin mode.
How the system works
Temporary channels solve an old problem: a server cluttered with empty voice channels.
The concept: you designate a single channel named, for example, "➕ Create Channel". Whenever a member joins it, Lona creates a custom channel for them and moves them there immediately. They become the channel owner — able to change its name, set user limits, lock it, and kick members.
Best of all: when the last person leaves, the channel is deleted automatically. Zero clutter.
