Moderation & Administration
A powerful moderation system — punishments, channels, roles, and warnings.
The most important moderation dashboard page, and the most overlooked: you can disable any mod command and choose who can use it — far more precise than Discord permissions.
Review command list
Each moderation command has its own row: toggle on/off and a dedicated settings page.
Start by turning off what you don't need. A disabled command won't run even if the user has the Discord permission.
Choose who can use each command
Each command has a page where you specify the allowed roles.
Practical example: leave !warn and !mute open to moderators, and keep !ban and !massban for senior admin only.
Set the log channel
Without a log, disputes between moderators have no source of truth.
And !modstats ranks moderators by their actions, while !actionsundo reverts the last reversible action.
How the system works
Lona's moderation system is built on three layers working together:
Punishment layer — The command being executed (ban, mute, kick). Every punishment is logged with its moderator, reason, and timestamp, leaving no action unaccounted for.
Logging layer — every action goes to the modlog channel you set. This isn't a luxury: when moderators disagree, the log is the single source of truth.
Undo layer — !actionsundo reverts the last reversible action. So a quick mistake doesn't cost you a member.
The core concept to understand: Discord prevents any bot from managing a role higher than its own. If Lona's role is below the member's role, the command will fail regardless of her permissions. This causes 90% of moderation issues.
Your server is being mass-spammed right now
!lockdown — locks and hides everything immediately!massban @1 @2 @3 — ban the source!unlockall then !showall — once things calm downA member is disruptive but doesn't deserve a ban
!warn @member reason — a logged warning!mute @member 1h — if they repeat it!warns @member — review their record before deciding!tempban @member 7d — the final step before a permanent banYou want to clean a channel without losing member messages
!cleanup — deletes bot messages and commands only!purgebots — bot messages only!nuke — if you want a completely fresh start (deletes and recreates the channel with the same settings)A member joined, caused chaos, and left
!history @member — their full punishment history!whois @member — account details and any suspicious flags!من_دعاني @member — who invited them in the first place!note adds a moderation note to a member visible only to moderators — ideal for documenting "this member was warned verbally" without an official warning.!risk scans the entire server and flags roles, webhooks, and bots that pose a risk. Run it once a month.!modstats ranks moderators by their activity — quickly spotting inactive mods.!tempaddrole grants it for a set duration and removes it automatically.!nuke literally deletes the channel and recreates it. Settings and permissions are restored, but messages are gone forever. There is no undo.!unbanall unbans all banned users without exception — including those banned for good reason. Use with extreme caution.massban, roleall, lockall) take time on large servers because Discord rate limits actions. Don't re-run the command thinking it "didn't work".
