Music control panel with interactive buttons inside a dedicated channel.
Music has two entry points: from Discord via a button panel inside a dedicated channel, and from the dashboard via the “Lona Studio” page. Commands and the panel are sufficient for most servers, but the Studio page lets you do two things you can't do from chat: play in a voice channel without joining it, and customize command names while restricting them to a single channel.
Set up the channel and panel
This command sets up the channel and posts the panel. Afterwards, specify the requests channel.

Prevents rapid-fire requests from messing up the queue. Essential for busy servers.
Play a track from the dashboard without joining the channel
This feature has no command equivalent: pick a voice channel and start playback without having to join it yourself. Useful when preparing background music for an event before people arrive.
The 🎵 Track name or YouTube URL field accepts search queries or direct links, and 📍 Voice channel lists your server's voice channels. Click Play.
Supported sources: YouTube, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, and playlists. The queue limit is 50 songs — if you add a longer playlist, the rest is trimmed without a clear error message.
Customize command names and restrict them to a single channel
The Custom Music Commands panel lets you rename any command to any word you want — play can become شغل, and skip can become تخطي. There are eleven customizable commands: play · skip · stop · pause · resume · leave · queue · loop · shuffle · history · volume. Best of all, the Discord Commands Guide at the bottom of the page updates automatically with the new names, so you can copy and share it with your members without writing anything manually.
Below it is Dedicated Music Channel (optional). If left on "— All channels (no restriction) —", commands work anywhere. If you set a channel, music commands will work only there — keeping command spam out of general chat.
Pin the bot to a channel or send the "Spy"
Each bot card has three tools that can be confusing if not understood:
Pin to channel — The bot joins the channel and stays there permanently, even if empty. Useful for 24/7 radio channels. Unpin it using Unpin; a Pinned badge appears on the card while linked.
🕵️ Spy — Choose a channel and click Send Spy; the bot joins muted without playing anything. Useful for a silent presence in a channel you want to monitor.
Leave — The bot leaves the current voice channel.
Customize bot identity in your server (Premium)
The Customize <Bot Name> panel changes its appearance in your server only — other servers see it with its default identity.
Name — up to 32 characters, leave blank to revert to default.
Avatar — PNG, JPG, or GIF, square recommended.
Banner — 1024×400 horizontal recommended.
Then click Save & Apply; Reset reverts everything back to default.
How the system works
Music in Lona runs with a button-based controller panel in a dedicated channel — instead of members typing long commands.
